Russian brides

The objective reason is disproportion between men and women. Women outnumber men. It's difficult for lonely woman to find a life partner. The thing is, women in Russia want to have family and children real bad, and this is the main reason pushing them to seek husbands elsewhere, since in Russia there is officially only 88 males for 100 females . According to Russian cultural paradigm, a woman should be married with children; being single is a shame. Any woman who is unmarried at the age of 22 is considered as "old maid" The pick of the society's pressure on the woman to get married is at the age of 27; after that her family and friends start thinking she will never get married and give up on her; she herself also starts getting used to the idea she will never have her own family. Once women become content with the idea of never getting married, their requirements to a prospective partner soar. Just getting married to avoid the shame of being single is already not enough for them. Women of the age group of 18-25 usually don't have problems with finding husbands. However, there are many divorces after 1-5 years of marriages. If a woman stay alone with children she become "the head of the family." She has to earn a living,take care for children, solve all the problems just by herself. She gets a lot of stress every day.She gets up early (sometimes at 6-7 a.m.)to bring her children to a kindergarten or to a school. It usually takes about an hour or more to get to her place of work, as most families live in outskirts and work in the center of the city. Usually she gets there not by own car but public transport which is overcrowded during the rush-hours. Rare woman is able to afford herself to buy a car. So even the begining of day isn't pleasant at all. The working day is normally 8 hours long and it is sometimes longer if if she works for a private company and has to stay after work. Then she goes home using overcrowded public transport again. After work she goes shopping,then fetches children from kindergarten.Even in the evening she has no time to relaxe.She cooks dinner (usually it consists of soup,salad, meat or fish dish with garnish) and does housework. Also she has to pay attention to her children. A such furious pace and living conditions can not make her happy. By 10 p.m. she is completely exhausted. Her daily life may be described by scheme work-home-work. Maybe that's why there are not many women smiling in transport or in the streets.
